Room and contents fire that extended to the exterior of a single story dwelling. A small child admitted to playing with matches and accidentally started the couch on fire. The fire was contained to the front of the house, but the house sustained significant smoke and heat damage.

This is a pretty good size house fire in South Bend IN. It took 4 hand lines and 2 deck guns to bring it under control. An arsonist started a fire in the basement earlier that day, but it didn’t really amount to anything. Just after midnight, they came back and did the job right. Overall this was the 3rd and final time this house burned. Somebody wanted it gone. Well now it is.
